Empires rise and fall, but the Bible points to a King whose kingdom has no end. Through Psalms 110, 2, 22, and 16, we see a detailed portrait of Jesus as Messiah, Priest, and eternal Ruler. Psalm 2 declares that God has set His King on Zion, and that same King invites all people to take refuge in Him. Psalm 22 contains stunning prophetic details about the crucifixion of Jesus, written nearly a thousand years before it happened. The invitation is clear: the kingdoms of this world will all eventually fall, but the King who rules forever extends His hand and calls us to find our refuge in Him.
