Spiritual drift rarely announces itself. It happens subtly, through small decisions, until we find ourselves far from where we intended to be. Psalm 1 traces this drift through three postures: walking in the counsel of the wicked, standing in the way of sinners, and sitting in the seat of scoffers. Each stage represents a deeper level of compromise and spiritual numbness. The antidote is not simply trying harder. It is delighting in God with the same intentionality we give to the things we love most. Jesus is the only One who ever lived Psalm 1 perfectly, and through faith in Him, His righteousness becomes ours. As we fix our eyes on Him, we are slowly transformed to reflect the heart of God to a broken world.
