Joseph's story in Genesis 39 powerfully illustrates that doing the right thing doesn't always lead to immediate rewards. Despite being sold into slavery by his brothers, Joseph remained faithful to God while serving in Potiphar's house. When faced with sexual temptation from Potiphar's wife, Joseph refused to sin against God, only to be falsely accused and imprisoned. His example reminds us that faithfulness matters even when it's costly. Like Joseph, we may face mistreatment for standing firm in our convictions, but we can find comfort knowing that God remains with us through every trial, using our circumstances for His greater purposes.
