Why do people reject Jesus even after hearing the gospel repeatedly? John 12 reveals that unbelief is not a failure of method or message. Hearts can become hardened through persistent resistance to God, one refusal at a time. But there is also a second kind of unbelief: believing in secret, where the fear of what faith will cost keeps people from confessing Jesus publicly. Jesus is the full revelation of God the Father, and you cannot separate belief in God from belief in Him. The invitation is still open. The real question is not why others refuse the light, but what you are doing with the truth God has already placed in your hands.
